How to Participate
Apply to host a hackathon

You can work with an existing hack league on campus or create your own event. Application deadline May 31, 2023.
Receive your hackathon kit

Once your application is approved, Hackster will send you the hackathon kit and resources for you to successfully organize and host your event.
Host your hackathon

You will organize your 24-48 hour hackathon, create your own community hub on Hackster for submitting projects.

Pick your local winner
After the hackathon, you will have more time to refine the project and evolve your prototype. You will have 40 days after the hackathon to pick your winner, and Hackster will send the winner the first-level local prize. The winner is also eligible to enter into the grand prize competition.

All the local winners will be invited to participate in the grand prize competition. Sony judges will choose the best project of the year.
Sensing Solutions University collaboration Program
The program offers real collaboration opportunities for a network of partners, from university labs to teaching facilities. It encourages and supports research collaboration in the area of sensing solutions, and promotes innovation and education.
